Our Story
Wendy and David Rinehart, founders and owners of FSC, spent years in the LTC insurance industry. Wendy was a Master LTCi Agent, and David was a Regional Sales Manager at GE Capital Assurance, both earning top industry honors. But when Wendy’s brother was diagnosed with cancer just a year after buying a policy from her, everything changed.
Despite her expertise, navigating his claim was emotional, confusing, and full of roadblocks. While grieving and caregiving, Wendy realized how overwhelming the process was, even for an expert. She knew at that moment that families shouldn’t have to navigate this alone.
They began researching and found attorneys, care providers, and families all struggling with the same issue. After consulting with leaders from major insurance carriers and elder law professionals, the message was clear: families need a trusted advocate.
Family Solutions for Care was born to fill that gap. Today, FSC helps families nationwide access the care and benefits they deserve.
